About College

Mulund College of Commerce was founded in 1970 by Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association. The college history named the late Shri Babasaheb Pethe and Shri Baburao Paranjape among its founders. A junior college followed in 1976, extending the institution’s teaching beyond the original degree college.

A timeline of study

• 1980: postgraduate M.Com teaching centre.
• 1982: Institute of Management and Professional Studies.
• 1994: a collaboration with Computrain.
• 1999–2001: Bachelor of Management Studies, vocational Computer Applications, and B.Sc. Computer Science and Information Technology.
• 2003–04: new commerce specialisations in tax practice, accounting and finance, banking and insurance, followed by M.Sc. Information Technology.
• 2007–08: further professional and financial-market programmes were recorded.
