From a commerce college founded in 1970 to a wider academic community.
Mulund College of Commerce began in 1970 under Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association. Its own history named the late Shri Babasaheb Pethe and Shri Baburao Paranjape among the founders. A junior college opened in 1976. Over the following decades, postgraduate teaching and new fields of study broadened the institution.
People and purpose
The management account places the college within a larger educational association. Its mission joins disciplined study with intellectual, physical and moral development. The college history sets out the sequence of new courses from M.Com through management, computing and finance.
The campus in Mulund
The former directory gave an address on Dr Sarojini Naidu Road in Mulund West. The infrastructure account described a ground floor and three upper floors, with an auditorium, library, student spaces and computer laboratories.
